Right of Withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal for commissioned works and e-books. For original artworks (ready-made works, not made to individual specification), the statutory right of withdrawal applies as follows.
Right of Withdrawal (original artworks only)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Jana Wohlgemuth Luxury Abstracts, Jana Wohlgemuth, Bei den Zelten 4, 22111 Hamburg, Germany, email: info@janawohlgemuth-luxuryabstracts.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unambiguous statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods — please pack original artworks carefully and securely for transport when returning them.
Commissioned Works
Works made to your individual specifications (motif, colour, format, etc.) are excluded from the right of withdrawal in accordance with § 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB) / Art. 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
E-Books
A 14-day right of withdrawal applies to e-books.
